Question by JD: What is the best AMD/Motherboard Combo Available?
What AMD procesor and motherboard would be the best combo money could buy? I’m lookin at server motherboards, that have like quad processors that u can put the opteron quad core or w/e and then 16 ram slots but it doesnt have like a lot on the i/o panel (usb, iee394a or w/e, lan). what is the best motherboard (two processors or more, with a lot of stuff on the i/o panel) and NO PCI-X Slots. idk what that is, ive never heard of it until i saw these server motherboards. i want at least 3 pci-e x16 and at least one pci (regular) slots. and what amd processor would be best for it. thanks

I would suggest you look around on the SuperMicro site for server type motherboards. Just be careful what kind of MEMORY is required, often, you are talking more expensive RAM for those boards. Remember also, that those motherboards are designed for business applications, not gaming…so just buying a $ 500 motherboard isn’t necessarily going to do you any better than a $ 250 standard ATX mobo. You may even find that with two separate physical processors running more RAM will actually be a slower performer than if you just had a dual or quad core on a higher end ATX mobo. I know it is tempting to the EGO to think if you build a server level computer you will have a faster, better computer, but just bear in mind…businesses and corporations generally don’t give one hoot about the quality of graphics or sound on those computers…they are for backing up and storing and serving up corporate data.

Still yet, however, you migt want to take a look at SuperMicro motherboards:

Question by : What is the best gaming mouse?
Hi im looking for a gaming mouse for my laptop, it’s going to be used for MMO’s like star wars the old republic. I’m going to be selling my HD PVR to get one as i never use it and that should fetch around £130, i dont really want to spend that much though probably around £70 or less. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

they both offer the same functionality, no difference in the latest versions, personally i only prefer Dreamweaver as it is what i’m most used to.

As someone who was in the computer hardware business for years (though I rarely sold printers since I couldn’t compete with the crazy rebates) I have always recommended Epson. The print quality is excellent, even on plain paper. I have photos I printed on a 640 about ten years ago hanging in my office which still look good, though not as good as the ones from the CX8400 on glossy paper. The warranty is excellent. For a year, Epson will express-ship a replacement and pick up the old one. I had one customer who needed this. He called one afternoon and had the replacement two days later. Another client bought a Canon. It needed two repairs within a few months. Each time it was taken to the repair center, then picked up a few days later. This client runs a specialty printing business and this really hurt. They have since bought an Epson CX5000 and have had no down time since.
All name brand ink is expensive, but you can get cheap new replacement cartridges for Epson (not refills which I never recommend) for under $ 5 at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp I have been using these for years.
The CX9400Fax is on sale at epson.com for $ 99.

I wanted to buy a laptop and I really want to know which processors are the best and the difference between Intel pentium and celeron also difference between AMD turion and sempron processors.My work is basically data management and abit of graphics.

well amd is much better for data processing since most of them are 64 bit AthlonX2/Athlon64/Turion/Sempron order of best chipset

Depends on your personal preferences. I recommend going to a store like Best Buy where they have lots of keyboards on display and trying them out.

Right now I’m using the Microsoft Sidewinder X6 keyboard and X8 mouse. They’re good for me.

i have 2 120mm case fans, 1 at bottom front and 1 at top rear.how do i know which way round to fix the fans for maxium cooling?

hot air rises, so have the top rear as exhaust, and the bottom one as intake.

I am thinking about getting one or two small solid state drives to install windows on. I am looking for speed and reliability.
What is the best drive to get for just OS and maybe some speed hungry apps?
What size should I get? I think the Win XP install was less than 5GB, so even if I got a 16G it would probably be enough, right?

Mostly for FPS games like battlefield 3 and tf2, but also for games like starcraft 2 and minecraft.

I personally LOVE Razer mice for FPS games. I currently have a Razer Lachesis that I got off of ebay for $ 40, when it is a $ 70 mouse. I understand wanting to buy from newegg cuz they are awesome, but I recommend searching around ebay as well. On Newegg they have this one:
