Question by SOCKO1299: can i record multiple usb headsets on sony vegas as different tracks?
when recording in Sony Vegas can I plug two usb headsets into my computer and will they show up as 2 separate devices and thus allow me to change (make louder and softer, etc.) them as two different tracks.

Question by Mr. Thursday: Can I mix 2 different memory cards on my computer? Eg one is 256 & the other 512?
my friend told me computer can only read the large one size, and the other small one won’t be read. then the computer just have 512Mb memory in totally. I just read any answers in this yahoo about the different memory cards, but i’m still curious. can anyone help me give the answer please. thx

you mean ram?
if so, then yes.
i currently have 2 512′s and 2 1 gig’s = 3 gigs in total.

I want to have one computer with 4 different displays on 4 separate monitors.

I already know where to buy a quad monitor stand, but how I do it?

Can I use two ATI cards or do I need a Matrox card?

Can I use Win Xp Pro SP2 or SP3?
Do I need Windows 7?

I’ve never done this before. I’m using this for trading stocks.
I don’t want to waste money or time.

Not sure if this can be done. You can get a video card that has 3 DVI connectors but I haven’t seen any way of doing 4 displays. I would think Windows XP or higher should work. You could always get 2 video cards with 2 connectors on each and try that.

If the driver arn’t installed its one thing but what could of happend is that the I/O (input output) ports on your mother board died.

I have a Mac desktop computer with the built in isight webcam and my mom is using a logitec quickcam on her PC. We’ve tried using AIM and Google chats but we can’t seem to get either to work. Can anyone help me out and tell me what the problem could be so that we can chat together

I had this same problem with my boyfriend. It got to the point where i had MSN, AIM, and iChat all up at the same time, and when he would get on AIM, his name would show on my iChat. but then HE would have to be the one to send the invitation, and it would work then. make sure you both have the same, most updated versions of AIM also

Question by dccandtony: How to connect 2 monitors to view different windows on my pc?
I usually work 8 hours a day using different sites and also email. I have about 5 windows opened at one time and cannot seem to get anything done. I am wondering if working off of 2 monitors will help, since my company will not buy me a new Widescreen monitor,they do have an extra 12″, but don’t know how to connect it. any suggestions?

I bought a SONY Cybershot [5 MegaPixels] about 4 years ago with three Memory Stick PRO Duo cards, and I recently bought a NEW Cybershot [7.2 MegaPixels]. And my old memory cards do not fit!!!

Anytime Sony, upgrades or updates anything, they always seem to change the memory sticks.

I have two laptops and I would like the display from one of them to be displayed on both screens. I know this is easy enough to accomplish with a laptop and a pc screen, but how is it done with two laptops?

That is highly dependant upon what ports you ahve on your laptops and what operating system you are using (Not that it can’t be done regardless of Operating system, but for the purpose of finding instructions that pertain).

An HDMI might be used, which provides Male ports on both ends of the cable, making it for connecting two like ports (as what you would have on HDMI to HDMI on a laptop) also making it the easiest to set up and configure if you have HDMI ports on both computers this is the best way to go.

Question by Mr. Curious: How do I make sense of all the different Intel and AMD processors? What do all the numbers and letters mean?
Is there an easy way to tell which is the best processor by each company? It used to be so easy, but these days there are so many types of processors (Centrino, Moblie, D, M, Duo…etc, plus all the numbers) I want to know which ones would be low end, medium and high End processors.

Basically Intel and AMD are rival processors. They both are same in capability. AMD is new in market, so no one is aware about its capacity. But Intel is quite old one which has gained much publicity and trust in people. I heard AMD is more powerful than Intel processors.

If you want to use computers for high end job like graphics design, 3d, animations then i recommend Intel Pentium. If it is for normal use like Office, emails n nets then Celeron would do for you.
