When it comes to installing two optical drives, is there a preferred slave/master choice?

Question by powhound: When it comes to installing two optical drives, is there a preferred slave/master choice?
DVD multi and CD-RW/DVD-ROM.
Does it matter if one is slave, the other master? My thinking is that it makes no difference which is which.

nope master/slave does not matter

Personal preference, really. I have my CD drive set as slave to my DVD drive, but that’s only for routing the cable on the inside, for improved airflow.
